The name Cromargan® is derived from the words “chrome” and “argan” – “chrome” due to steel’s particularly high chromium content and “argan” due to its silvery appearance.

Virtually all of WMF’s products are made from Cromargan®: 18/10 rust free stainless steel, a material with outstanding usability and ease of care.
