When it comes to good pots, the most important consideration is their thermal behavior. And because aluminum conducts heat quickly and distributes it evenly, WMF pots feature the TransTherm®-universal base, consisting of a thick aluminum core encapsulated in a chromium steel exterior. This protects the aluminum core from aggressive detergents and prevents food residue from sticking to the outside of the pot, making it easy to clean.

Thanks to WMF’s Cool+ technology, you can now take hold of stainless-steel handles when cooking, steaming, and frying without using pot mitts. This one-of-a-kind, patented technology reduces the thermal transfer so effectively from pot to handle that it was the first to exceed the requirements set out by the DIN standard. This means that, when the pot heats up, the handles do not. There is therefore no risk of burning or scalding the fingers when removing the lid quickly or draining boiling water.
